Women’s Safety Device with GPS Tracking & Alerts

Women’s safety is a very important issue due to rising crimes against women these days. To help resolve this issue we propose a gps based women’s safety system that has dual security feature. This device consists of a system that ensures dual alerts in case a woman is harassed or she thinks she is in trouble. This system can be turned on by a woman in case she even thinks she would be in trouble. It is useful because once an incident occurs with a woman she may or may not get the chance to press the emergency button. In a button press alerting system, in case a woman is hit on the head from behind, she may never get the chance to press panic button and no one will know she is in trouble. Our system solves this problem. This device is to be turned on in advance by a woman in case she is walking on a lonely road or some dark alley or any remote area. Only the woman authenticated to the devices can start the system by fingerprint scan. Once started the devices requires the woman to constantly scan her finger on the system every 1 minute, else the system now sends her location to the authorized personnel number through SMS message as a security measure and also sounds a buzzer continuously so that nearby people may realize the situation. In this case even if someone hits the woman or the woman falls down and get unconscious, she does not need to do anything, the system does not get her finger scan in 1 minute and it automatically starts the dual security feature. This device will prove to be very useful in saving lives as well as preventing atrocities against women. The device uses GPS sensor along with a gsm modem,lcd display, leds and microcontroller based circuit to achieve this system.

Raspberry Pi Wheelchair with Safety System

Here we propose raspberry pi based wheelchair with safety features. The system utilizes raspberry pi along with graphic LCD display, rf technology and motorized circuit in order to achieve this system. Our proposed system consists of a controller circuit and a wheelchair circuit. The controller circuit allows the user to provide direction commands to the wheelchair through a directional graphical LCD display. The wheelchair circuit consists of a rf receiver used to receive these commands and then operate the wheelchair motors in order to achieve desired movement. This allows the disabled person th operate the wheelchair easily as well as another person can operate the wheelchair from 3-4 meters distance. Also the system consists of emergency help features for the disabled. If the person is in trouble or needs help the person just needs to press a button and his gps coordinates are sent to his/her loved ones through sms message. Also if the person falls from wheelchair or is unable to press the button, he/she just needs to shout help and the system automatically sends the GPS coordinates through sms message to persons loved ones.

Ultrasonic Blind Stick with GPS Tracking

The generally available blind walking sticks are capable of finding obstacle that touch the stick physically. It is helpful to a blind person but we here propose an advanced blond stick system that allows blind person to sense objects before stick touches them. Check if there is water in front. Also it includes gps tracking feature to find lost person along with other useful features. The system uses a microcontroller based circuit to handle the entire system functioning. Our system uses ultrasonic sensor to sense objects within certain range of the person and sounds beeps of a particular type to signal obstacles. Also we use a shorting system to detect water in front of the person. As soon as the front wires of the system dip in water that system signals the blind person by a different beep pattern to signal water in front. Now this system also has a light sensing feature to give the blind person a sense of light. It signals the person if there is light or darkness so that he/she can know if it is night or has entered a very dark room/facility. If the person looses the stick the person can use an rf remote so the stick starts beeping and the person can find it. One more important feature of the system is that the system allows the blind person to send out a sms message with his/her gps location to the caretaker/relatives/loved ones of the person in case of trouble or being lost.

GPS + GSM Based Advanced Vehicle Tracking System Project

The project is designed to find out the exact location of any vehicle and intimate the position to the concerned authority about through an SMS. This system includes a GPS modem which retrieves the location of a vehicle in terms of its longitude and latitude. This data is fed to the microcontroller which is interfaced with a GSM modem. Microcontroller retrieves the location details from the GPS and sends it to the concerned authority in the form of an SMS over GSM modem on periodical intervals so set by the user. An LCD display is interfaced to the microcontroller for crossing the data received before being sent over GSM Adopting this technology will be highly useful to transport companies to keep tracking their vehicles. This project can be further enhanced by making an arrangement to stop the vehicle ignition by the owner remotely by sending an SMS in theft situations.

GPS Vehicle Tracking & Theft Detection

The project proposes a GPS based vehicle tracking system that tracks the vehicle and sends the tracking data over through a sms. The microcontroller acts as the controlling head of the system. When the system goes in Theft mode the authorized user gets the alert message and user will Able to stop the vehicle engine immediately via sending sms to system With ‘S’ Keyword. The system includes a GPS modem that tracks the vehicle location in the form of latitude and longitude. This location can be accessed via sms that is being sent to the user. With the help latitude and longitude information SMS user will able to locate vehicle with Google map. This system proves very beneficial for transport and travel companies as they can now keep track of their vehicles.

GPS Handcuffs With Geographic Prohibitions

In case of house arrests or when a person is prohibited from moving out of a particular geographical system, it is very difficult to keep a constant watch on the person. Also it is difficult to track if any prisoner among the huge number of prisoners has escaped from prison by underground tunnel or by hiding in some opaque object. For such situations we propose a gps based handcuff system that automates this process. The system tracks user(convict) through his receiver system by checking if it is in range of facility. Now the user is only allowed to move within a particular geographical area. When the user moves within any geographical area the system on person is in range of the prison/house or facility system and does not track him. This is done by using rf wireless system. Now as soon as user goes out of the specified geographic area the system detects that the persons system is not receiving signals from the transmitter mounted in the prison. The system now triggers an alarm on system mounted on user and also transmits the users gps coordinates to the authority contact number through sms for tracking the escaped person. Thus this system automates the entire process of criminal handling, house arrests using avr family microcontroller.

Accident Identification and alerting project

When an individual riding his/her bike, meets with an accident, there is a chance that the individual may suffer from a serious injury or expire instantaneously and there is no one around to help him. Well this system is a solution to the problem. The system acts as an accident identification system that gathers and sends this vehicle information that met with an accident, and conveys it to the nearest control room. For this the user vehicle is fixed with an RF transmitter circuit that has a vibration sensor along with microcontroller, RF encoder and also fitted with an RF transmitter. Each and every control room must have an RF receiver fitted to receive the transmission. Whenever a user vehicle meets with any accident, the vibration sensor detects and gives its output. This output is then detected by the microcontroller. Now the microcontroller sends this change detection signal to an RF transmitter. The RF transmitter now intern begins transmitting this accident data. The nearest RF transmitter reads the signal and then shows it on an LCD screen. The person monitoring the LCD screen may react to it, reach the accident location and help the needful.

Landmine Detection Robotic Vehicle with GPS Positioning Using ARM

Nation’s security is most important thing today and therefore there is a need to consider safety of the soldiers and army who fight for the nation’s security. One of the major concerns is the mine that is laid by the enemy on the way. So it becomes very important to detect this mine and diffuse them to save the lives of soldiers and armies. This is now made possible with our Landmine Detection Robotic Vehicle with GPS Positioning Using ARM project. System can scan a rectangular area efficiently and scan it for landmines. For this, the system makes use of metal detector for detecting these mines. Once the system detects the mine, it stops the robotic vehicle at the location where the mine is being hidden. After which system makes use of GPS to track the position of the mine and then sends SMS message indicating the position of the mine that is hidden in the land. Here the arm controller is used to process data sent by the metal detection system and stop whenever it is detected. Here we have ARM Cortex Board as controller that drives the motorized vehicle accordingly so that the robotic vehicle scans the entire rectangular area. Thus by making use of robotic vehicle and metal detection system, this project helps to save the life of our soldiers and armies in the areas where landmines are hidden by the enemies.
